Fenty Beauty was launched by RIHANNA in 2017 with the goal of creating a makeup line that would cater to all skin tones and types. Because she NOTICED that there was a BIG PROBLEM :There is lack of diversity in the beauty industry and that many makeup brands did not offer products that worked for women with darker skin tones, those that had previously been underserved by the beauty industry.
