-
In 2010, Shanghai joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network and was awarded the title of “Creative City of Design”. Shanghai Design Week (SHDW) has made its first debut in 2022. It is a pivotal milestone not just for an ambitious urban development initiative for Shanghai, but also a testament to the vital importance that design as a new primary driver plays for the evolution and resilience of our global city. Organized by Shanghai Municipal People's Government and guided by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, Shanghai Design Week (SHDW) will be performing as a multidisciplinary design event organizer that fosters and celebrates the industrial transformation of excellent designs and an integrated design platform that visualizes an inclusive, innovative and integrated city of Shanghai.
-
Following a decade of operation, Shanghai Design Week required a strategic repositioning of its brand and image.
As we venture into the next era, Shanghai's blueprint revolves around embracing a new generation of design-led creativity, propelling the city towards its aspirations of becoming a prominent global metropolis. Shanghai Design Week urgently needs to play the role of a new design platform to further promote the construction of Shanghai's city image and core competitiveness.
-
The rebranded SHDW represents its determination to improve design performance and innovation with its vision to establish a new design and business frontier, integrating Shanghai’s creative industry resources, reshaping and synchronizing industrialized design environment, promoting design as an important driven factor for improving added value for the industry development, social sustainability and its economical competitiveness.
SHDW will perform its role as a new design catalyst that fosters and promotes Shanghai to become a world-class “City of Design” featuring innovation, resilience and sustainability as well as a socialistic metropolis with global influence by 2030.
STAGE 01
LONDON
As the core execution partner of the Design to Wonderland series in London and Milan, we led the full-cycle planning, visual identity, onsite operations, and international communications — bridging Shanghai’s design narrative with global creative audiences.
The two exhibitions collectively featured over 100 participating enterprises and more than 300 curated design works, showcasing the global resonance of Shanghai’s creative force.
STAGE 02
VENICE
2023 Venice Biennale – China Pavilion
We served as the official production unit for the Film Hall of the China Pavilion, overseeing creative direction, video content production, and technical implementation. The immersive experience we delivered became a key highlight of the national exhibition, amplifying China’s design voice on an international stage.
STAGE 03
MILANO
As an satellite program of Milan Design Week, Design to Wonderland – Milan Chapter was organized under the China Week initiative. Acting as a key overseas showcase for Shanghai’s fashion and design output, the program brought 50+ top-tier Chinese design-driven brands and studios to the international stage.
Our team led the overall curation, brand coordination, visual and spatial execution, and cross-border communications — ensuring that over 150 curated works were presented with cultural relevance and global appeal, reinforcing Shanghai’s position as a hub of design innovation.
STAGE 04
OSAKA
For the upcoming Shanghai Made Boutique Fair in Osaka on May 21, 2025, we are in charge of comprehensive project operations — including curatorial planning, fashion brand coordination, exhibition design, media strategy, and onsite management. The event will continue to highlight Shanghai’s innovation in fashion and consumer goods, bringing together top-tier design forces to engage with Japan’s forward-thinking market.
STAGE 05
SHANGHAI
WDCC has become a strategic urban initiative for Shanghai — not only as a flagship platform to showcase cutting-edge design and material innovation, but also as a symbol of the city’s commitment to creative economy, international exchange, and the future of livable urbanism. Our work is dedicated to reinforcing this role by shaping world-class experiences that connect industry, culture, and the public.
As the operations supplier of WDCC, we are responsible for the execution & production of key exhibition zones — including the Fashion Pavilion, thematic exhibition areas, and event service infrastructure. From spatial planning and curatorial coordination to experience design and guest logistics, we ensures every detail aligns with WDCC’s vision and Shanghai’s creative ambition.
